What are the Ohana Skin Programs?

The Ohana Skin Programs are an integrated wellness solution combining an eating plan, exercise plan and Teatox (tea detox) product.

What is Ohana Skin tea?

The Ohana Skin tea is not a food substitute. For maximum health benefits it should be consumed in conjunction with a healthy balanced diet and appropriate exercise program, such as our Ohana Skin Detox Program – Eating Plan and Ohana Skin Program – Exercise Plan. The Ohana Skin comprises two different products – a Morning Cleanse to be consumed in the morning and an Evening Cleanse to be taken at night.

Ohana Skin is not a long-term product – use it to detox for a maximum of 28 days at the start of the program.  However, our Ohana Skin Detox Program – Eating Plan and Ohana Skin Program – Exercise Plan are intended for long-term use.  In fact, they provide the most benefit when applied long-term.

You should drink plenty of water (at least 10 cups per day) while using the Ohana Skin.

The contraceptive pill & other medication

Before commencing a Ohana Skin Program, always check with a healthcare practitioner when you are taking medications or have any medical conditions. If you experience any adverse reaction to any of the Ohana Skin products, stop using the product immediately and see your healthcare practitioner.

Taking the contraceptive pill in the evening, while using Evening Cleanse, may render the contraceptive pill ineffective.  Therefore, we recommend that you take the contraceptive pill at least two hours before the Evening Cleanse, subject to any other recommendation provided by your health practitioner.  Please contact us, and your health care practitioner, immediately if you are unwell after taking the Evening Cleanse.

Who shouldn’t use Ohana Skin?

Everybody is different in how they will react to the Ohana Skin. It is not for everybody. If your body reacts adversely to the Ohana Skin stop using the product immediately. You should not use the Ohana Skin if you are:

  • under 18 years of age;
  • pregnant;
  • breastfeeding; or
  • suffering from a serious medical condition.

Do not use the Ohana Skin for longer than 28 days at a time and ensure that you always take a two week break in between any of our programs. Prolonged use may cause serious bowel problems. Do not use if you have abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting, or if you develop diarrhoea.  See your healthcare professional if symptoms persist.

Effect of Ohana Skin

The Evening Cleanse component of the Ohana Skin includes Senna, which contains hydroxyanthracene glycosides.  It has a laxative effect.  Make sure you stay well hydrated throughout your teatox and are getting enough electrolytes.  Dehydration will not aid your health or weight loss journey!  We strongly recommend the use of an electrolyte supplement such as ‘gastrolyte’ (coconut water is a great natural alternative) for the duration of your teatox.

You should ensure that you have ready access to a toilet until you know how your body reacts to the Ohana Skin.

While the Morning Cleanse should not produce a laxative effect, again ensure that you have access to a toilet during the day until you know how your body reacts to the Ohana Skin.

If symptoms of discomfort or cramping appear, stop using the product. If symptoms are severe, see your healthcare practitioner.

Weight Loss

Results from the Ohana Skin Programs may vary.  Causes for being overweight or obese vary from person to person. Whether genetic or environmental, it should be noted that food intake, rates of metabolism and levels of exercise and physical exertion vary from person to person. This means weight loss results will also vary from person to person. No individual result should be seen as typical.

Our eating and exercise plans provide suggestions for a balanced diet and exercise program for you to use with your Ohana Skin. Of course these are general suggestions only. Everybody is different. Your personal requirements may differ and you should use your judgment when determining what is right for you. If you have any doubts about what is right for you consult a health or fitness professional.

The license to use this book is personal to you.
